Last month, I read a very interesting article by The Economist with a title ‘How Jensen Huang became AI’s Taylor Swift’. The article talks about his popularity. One learns how strategic personal branding and public communication can elevate a technology executive into a cultural icon shaping industry trends. It also provides insights into organizational resilience, highlighting a corporate culture that constructively addresses mistakes to foster long-term innovation.
It made me think about whether we are observing a shift in human behaviour where tech executives like Huang, Musk, Zuckerberg, Altman, Amodei are going to have pop-culture level influence. Maybe the next generation of teenagers and young adults will look up to them for passion and fashion.
