Sports

I love sports. Tennis is my main competitive sport but I also compete in school Cricket and Cross Country Running teams. In the past I also represented my school in various inter-school Chess tournaments. In school we play different sports such as Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, Athletics and Swimming. I thrive on tracking sports and following news.

TENNIS

I held my first plastic racquet when I was 2 and by the time I was 4 I was already hitting soft balls on court. My life revolves around tennis and it is evident from things that I did in school over the years 🙂

Passion is a starting point but preparation is all about perseverance. I have been working hard ever since I started competing. It meant doing many hours of hard work on and off the court. It meant sacrificing social life. It has helped me become more discipline and appreciate my support system of family and well wishers. 

Performance happens when passion and preparation yield results. Key is to keep working towards the goal and not worry too much on medals and trophies.

Cricket

I have always enjoyed watching and playing cricket. I started playing cricket when I was 5 years old. I have represented my school since 2023-2024 academic year and won medals in both U14 and U20 categories.

I started learning Chess at the age of 5 and competed in various Inter-School and CAISSA Tournaments in Hong Kong. I no longer train regularly but I continue to enjoy playing it with my friends. 

 

I always enjoyed playing and watching Soccer. I used to play it during my primary years but now I only play it as cross training. I enjoy watching soccer and reading interesting trivia about it.
