Alexander Zverev finally won a Grand Slam at Roland Garros after beating Flavio Cobolli after a long 5 sets battle. Sasha has been around the tour for a while and was considered next gen after the big 3 but faced the sudden emergence of next next gen from Alcaraz and Sinner. Most people didn’t think he would win a slam even though his achievements are not small. Finally he proved his critics wrong by not giving up and working hard. By winning a Grand Slam now he has become the 4th man ever to achieve winning titles at every level in Singles.
ATP 250, ATP 500, ATP 1000, ATP Tour Finals, Olympic Gold Medalist and finally a Grand Slam Champion.
Previously only Andre Agassi, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray had won titles at every level.
